The banquet hall had significant upgrades this year.  The curtains material was purchased and Karen Roberts White and Wanda Gaylord Coulter (both of '58) made them.  They really improved the looks of the dining area.  The wonderful decorations were made and provided by Darlene Bowman Dunn of the class of '59.
I've had some really good pictures sent to me by several individuals including, Shirley Jenkins Evans ('54), Carrie Moody Bayouth ('58), Albert Hines ('54), and Betty Hair Strickland ('52)--I have been unable to down load Betty's pictures--still trying.  Have many pictures froom Bill Johnston of the Collinsville News and Ted Wright from Cvilleok.com.  Thanks to all of them for making the pictures on this site available.  Codes for the pictures are SE--Shirley Evans, AH--Albert Hines, CB--Carrie Bayouth, CN--Collinsville News, and CV--Cvilleok.com.
John Combs (Class of '58) and I tried to do our best at keeping the reunion going at an even rate so as to present a program that would be enjoyed by all.  John's DVD presentation of the military and of Old Collinsville certain proved to be a hit as we have had over 50 responses to ordering the DVD.

Judy wowed everyone with her wonderful voice by singing "Old Friends".  She  got many well deserved comments on her singing talents. 
Don certainly entertained the group with several songs from the 50's.  Don sings all over Oklahoma and Texas and everyone agrees that he is a great talent.

Frank Reynolds presented a bouquet of roses to Dee Bayouth Sallee on honor of his mother, Anna Lee Reynolds former CHS teacher.
John Combs presented a great tribute to those members of the classes of the 50's that served in the military service.  The slide show also included photos of old Collinsville.  The presentation was EXCELLENT!!!

Overheard at the reunion!!!!
This stained glass C'ville Cardinal logo was presented to John Combsw ('58) for his tireless effort to make his Class of '58 as well as the Nifty Fifties Reunion ;08 a memorable one.  The cardinal was made by Collinsville resident, Lenora McMullen.
